1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help websites function properly, improve user experience, and provide analytical insights.
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), non-essential cookies require your prior consent.
2. How We Use Cookies
We use cookies and comparable technologies (local storage) for the following purposes:
2.1 Essential Storage
Strictly necessary for the operation of the website, for example to remember your language choice and your cookie decision. These entries are stored in your browser's local storage and are not transmitted to us.
Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest) and § 25(2) TDDDG.
These entries cannot be disabled.
2.2 Customer portal session cookie
If you log in to our customer portal, a technically necessary session cookie (kxs.session_token) keeps you logged in. It is deleted when you log out or after 14 days at the latest. Legal basis: § 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG. While you are logged in, a second technically necessary cookie (kxs_li, value "1", no personal data) tells our website to show "Dashboard" instead of "Login" in the header. It is deleted when you log out and expires after 24 hours at the latest. Legal basis: § 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG.
2.3 Statistics without cookies
Our own reach statistics work without cookies and without storing anything on your device (see section 28 of our Privacy Policy).
2.4 Analytics Cookies
Analytics tools are only activated after you give explicit consent via our cookie banner. At the time of publication, no analytics tool is active on this website. If we introduce one, this policy will be updated before activation.
Legal basis: Article 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent)
3. Managing and Withdrawing Consent
You can accept all cookies or allow only necessary cookies. You may withdraw or change your consent at any time via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of our website.
Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
4. Your Rights Under GDPR
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have the right to access, correct and delete your personal data, restrict processing, data portability, withdraw consent at any time and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
To exercise your rights, please contact: solar@kxs-energy.com
5. Changes to This Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect legal or technical changes. The latest version will always be available on this page.
