Important: €220,000 / MW is a non-binding guide price and at the same time the minimum price. Every installation is individual; the final price can be higher, but not lower.

What the price covers: The guide price stated refers to the tracker package with the services listed. Modules, inverters, cables and earthing are not included. Please note that every installation comes with its own individual conditions: factors such as soil conditions, slope, wind load zone, hub height and the required pile depth can affect the price. The guide price of €220,000 / MW should therefore be understood as the lower limit of the calculation. We will gladly prepare a binding offer for you once the details of your site have been clarified.

Agri-PV & funding

What you should know about agri-PV funding

As of September 2026. The first four points apply to Germany, where the rules are currently changing with the amendment of the Renewable Energy Sources Act (EEG). That is why we check every site individually.

  • Germany: eligible on farmlandAgri-PV to DIN SPEC 91434 can be funded under the EEG on agricultural land.
  • Farming remains the main useThe land stays workable. Separate conditions apply to CAP direct payments, and we check them with you.
  • Bonus only for elevated systemsThe § 38b EEG premium applies in tenders to systems with at least 2.1 m clearance. Ground-level tracker plants usually do not receive it.
  • Up to 1 MW without a tenderSmaller plants receive the statutory feed-in tariff, larger ones take part in the Federal Network Agency's tenders.
  • Austria, Switzerland, Italy, NetherlandsNational funding programmes and permit rules apply there. We work out with you what is possible for your site.
FAQ

Questions about the tracker package

What does the KXS Energy tracker package cost?

The guide price is €220,000 / MW of installed DC capacity, net excl. VAT and project-based. You receive the standard offer by email a few minutes after your request. A non-binding personal offer based on your project data follows, and only the signed contract is binding. €220,000 / MW is the minimum price: every installation is individual, the final price can be higher but not lower.

Which services are included in the package?

Soil survey, 3D survey, supply of the trackers (Zimmermann or SunChaser), pile driving, tracker and module installation, setting-out and survey, site setup, DC cabling, inverter installation and test reports. Modules, inverters, cables and earthing can be sourced through us.

How fast can KXS Energy start?

Pull-out tests (POT) and a geo audit with AquaSoli start two weeks after the order. Delivery of the tracker posts, pile driving and setting-out begin 14 days after the pull-out tests, thanks to short supply chains for the material. We only carry out pull-out tests once tracker delivery has been ordered. We align the rest of the construction schedule with your grid connection and delivery dates.

In which countries does KXS Energy offer the tracker package?

In Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy and the Netherlands. The standard offer is available in German, English, Italian and Dutch, and we send the personal offer in the language of your request.

Does the offer also apply to small plants?

Yes. The package applies to small agri-PV plants as well as to large solar parks. The price is calculated per MW.

Do I remain my client's contractual partner as general contractor?

Yes. KXS Energy works as subcontractor and supplier. We do not appear as general contractor on your site and do not sell directly to your client.

Is there special funding for agri-PV with trackers?

In Germany, agri-PV to DIN SPEC 91434 is eligible for EEG funding on agricultural land. The additional § 38b EEG bonus only applies to elevated systems with at least 2.1 m clearance in tenders, so ground-level tracker plants usually do not receive it (as of September 2026). Austria, Switzerland, Italy and the Netherlands have their own rules, which we check for your site.
